As some of you may or may not know, Google may or not be trying to control the written word. If you have not yet had an opportunity to check out the podcast "This Week in Google" with Leo Laporte and friends then now is the time!
This podcast is for anyone interested in the future of the print media, the nows and laters of cloud computing, what google would do, and discussions with librarians (episode 11). This podcast is truly a unique forum in which the hosts inform and entertain while discussing emergent technologies (from the base of cloud computing) including, but certainly not limited to all things Google. Get in on the Wave, but first listen to this important dialogue regarding Google Books, and how it could have all been prevented by Librarians (rather, by funding the Librarians).
